Jul 19, 2020 · Thank for this useful update, as today the BBC cut me off while listening to the cricket. I live outside the UK and use ExpressVPN. Attempts to reconnect to this (or other programmes I tried on iPlayer) resulted in the dreaded (and patronising) “This content doesn’t seem to be working…” I discussed this via online chat with ExpressVPN. Bizarrely, if I open another window, and leave the IPlayer running, it sounds perfect, but when I click back to the IPlayer page, it just freezes and stutters.. Same problem here in both Edge and IE11, previously OK before on Windows 7 but stuttering after upgrade to Win 10.
Apr 08, 2018 · When I select iPlayer from the On Demand menu the screen goes black and stays that way. It does not get as far as the login options. The machine is connected to the Internet, and ITV, Demand 5 work perfectly. iPlayer works fine on other devices in the household. Most recent update is 26 Jun 17.
