Aug 28, 2012 · So, the thing was that I had the clock on the 15th of January, 2005, and Windows Update didn't like that at all. By changing it to the current date (16th of January, 2017), I fixed both the problems of Windows Update not being able to download anything and not being able to activate Windows 7.
